I wouldn't be surprised if MS ability to control Kurama is called Sojobo, just as Amaterasu and Tsukyomi are also Tengu names. Legends state that Tengus used to ride Kitsunes. Son Goku is also a legend, and of course I believe Kishi got them from popular mangas, but we have to think hard on the primary legendary reference.

I now believe that Gobi is a kind of Dragon, having horns and an unnatural look that doesn't fit any known animal. It's not a mixture, as Hachibi is an Ox and an Octopus. It's simply impossible to define what it is. So it must be a dragon creature and something else, resulting in an unnatural and uncomprehensible look. Perhaps a dragon and a dog, like it is with the Neverending Story. It's hard to picture a dragon since we would normally place one on top of the food chain, but Son Goku is down below. And the Monkey King would be a top creature in most sets. So I now believe it to be some sort of Dragon-dog with 5 tails.

Since they are not that motivated upon their captain's caprices and since Luffy and Big Mom's speech looks like a duel for New World time, I don't expect any action from them at Fishman Islands far from the tyrant.

I wonder what will they say to each other when they leave. I hope they will say in an epic way that they are foolish to rise against Big Mom and that they will give them a lesson. We may have a Big Mom's answer as a conclusion since Luffy has not put the den den mushi down yet.

So assuming the same here, Tsukishima lost his affect on everyone by almost dying + you see him alive "After" Orihime lost her memories of him, I'm pretty sure this is the reason, Tsukishima was still alive at this point of the chapter, even if he were to die in the next chapter, he was alive when Orihime had forgotten him. 

Probably like zanpaktou's shikai / bankai's going back to normal states, I'd even eat my own hat that a near death state would have made even Aizen's ability loose it's grip on the affected people.
Assuming Aizen were to be reintroduced, he will likely be a lot less of a threat since everyone will be released from his ability, probably due to his near dead state or the fact he was completely sealed off from the remaining world for a period of time.

The Bellamy Pirates make their first appearance on the island of Jaya in Mock Town, a pirate-infested port. I Kinda wish the jinchuriki team was cannon. I think it would have been an interesting thing to watch. I hate the fact that we have to see the Jinchuriki like this. 

 This chapter was really good. So it seems that Tobi can use the same tech that Kushina did, am i right? So is he an Uzumaki ?
And it was awesome to see the tailed beast get pissed of, by the fact how Hachibi has been treated was amazing. Loved everything on this chapter. And nice to see that Kishi didn't forgot about Suigetsu and Juugo. What do you mean? That he thinks that he's ready to start a family with Karin, or that he would take them back as a team? Because Suigetsu and Juugo have no idea that Sasuke is this crazy boy that stabbed Karin. they weren't there when that happened.

A few things I noticed in the last page of the chapter. Ginjou has a Zanpaktou which is expected. Tsukishima does not have a soul chain so he wasn't a spirit. Tsukishima could see Ginjou in his spirit form meaning he had quite a bit of Reiatsu.

Possibly because his mother was attacked by a hollow.
Ginjou looks really young in the last page meaning he left SS a while back, after Shinji and his group most likely but before Ichigo became a Shinigami.

I'm expecting a Turn Back the Pendulum arc again soon, either from Isshin or Ginjou. Both of whom are probably connected somehow. I wonder who transferred their power to Ginjou to make him a Substitute Shinigami?

Naruto Character | Roshi

Rōshi was the jinjuriki of the Four-Tails that hailed from Iwagakure. The Four-Tails has been captured and sealed by Akatsuki, causing his death when the beast was extracted. However, upon his resurrection, the Four-Tails appears to have been resealed within Roshi.

Abilities

He has been noted to be a very powerful shinobi. Kisame, a powerful Akatsuki member himself, stated that he was not one to play around with as he was a tough one to capture. He was also seen using a curved kunai with which it can be assumed that he had proficiency wielding.

Rōshi became the jinchūriki of the Four-Tails at a very young age. He left his home town of Iwagakure at some point to better understand and control the power of the beast within him.

Naruto Character | Yagura

Yagura was the jinchūriki of the Three-Tails and the Fourth Mizukage, Yondaime Mizukage; Literally meaning "Fourth Water Shadow") of Kirigakure. When the Three-Tails was captured by Akatsuki, it had no host and roamed out in the wild. However, upon his resurrection, the Three-Tails appears to have been resealed within Yagura.

Abilities

Not much is known about his abilities except that he was presumed to be a powerful shinobi, due to him being chosen as the Mizukage. He wields what resembles a large, hook-ended staff with one end being larger than the other. A green flower is also located on the larger end. By incorporating this tool into his Water Release ninjutsu, Yagura is able to create mirrors that can reflect enemy attacks.

During his time as Mizukage, the village was known as the "Village of the Bloody Mist", mostly because of the barbaric ritual where Academy students kill one another in order to graduate. This practice was discontinued when an entire graduating batch of Academy students were massacred by a young Zabuza Momochi. It is likely that Yagura was the Mizukage whom Zabuza tried to assassinate when he revolted.

Yagura was also known to dispatch Kiri-nin who were suspected of being disloyal to the village immediately (commending and taking Kisame Hoshigaki as his direct subordinate after assassinating Fuguki Suikazan, a traitorous member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist). Yet despite the terror of his reign, he appeared to be kind. Apparently the people of Kiri feared that Yagura was being manipulated, a fear which was confirmed by Ao, who saw through an unnamed genjutsu with his Byakugan, later identified by Kisame as the work of Tobi.

Naruto Character | Yugito Nii

Yugito Nii was a kunoichi from Kumogakure, and the jinchūriki of the Two-Tails. The Two-Tails has been captured and sealed by Akatsuki, causing her death when the beast was extracted. However, upon her resurrection, the Two-Tails appears to have been resealed within Yugito.

Abilities

Yugito was a highly-skilled and powerful kunoichi that even Killer B looked up to, despite her being younger than him. She was a decent strategist, as she managed to lead two Akatsuki members into a trap which sealed the room, effectively cutting off any escape routes.

Yugito was made the Two-Tails' jinchūriki at the age of two and, at the end of a detestable training that was imposed on her, she was able to control her transformation into her tailed beast at will. At some point in the anime, Yugito agreed for Nekobaa to obtain the paw print of the Two-Tails for the Paw Encyclopaedia.

Naruto Character | Gaara

Gaara is one of the main supporting characters of the series, originally introduced as an antagonist. As the jinchūriki of the One-Tailed Shukaku, Gaara gained the nickname "Gaara of the Sand Waterfall" Sabaku no Gaara; English "Gaara of the Desert"). In Part II of the series, he became the Fifth Kazekage Godaime Kazekage; Literally meaning "Fifth Wind Shadow") of Sunagakure.

Abilities

Gaara is an extremely powerful shinobi, so much that he was made Kazekage at the age of 15. His powers and status have now become well-respected and praised by everyone in the Allied Shinobi Forces, including other Kage, both current and resurrected. Even the Second Mizukage, praised his skills, calling him the "golden egg" amongst the Kage. He was able to defeat both his father and the Second Mizukage. He was also praised by Deidara, who commented on his power after he captured him, after he himself lost an arm to Gaara's attacks. Out of everyone of his generation, he had the greatest increase in rank. Even though he had lost the Shukaku, he was still powerful enough to remain Kazekage, and his father recognised that he had surpassed him despite his Gold Dust having an advantage over his sand, and ultimately defeated the Second Mizukage and his Steaming Danger Tyranny, something which not even Mū was able to do. The type of fighting style he uses is a stationary type, as he rarely needs to move his entire body to attack an opponent. He has also shown to be a skilled teacher, teaching Matsuri how to use the jōhyō when he learned she was afraid of weapons. Like many Suna shinobi, he is skilled with the Sealing Tag, using Sand Binding Coffin in place of cloth. He has shown an affinity in the Wind Release, though this was only seen during his Shukaku transformations. Whether he has a natural affinity to wind or it stems from Shukaku is unknown. In Part II, Gaara has also shown to be highly analytical and a very skilled tactician. This is proven when he was able to defeat the Second Mizukage by formulating a way to counter the Mizukage's exploding clone.

Naruto Character | Ten Tails Jubi

The Ten-Tails is the original, primordial demon of the Naruto universe. All nine of the tailed beasts are but portions of chakra divided from the Ten-Tails. Tobi's ultimate goal, the Eye of the Moon Plan, is to capture and merge all nine of the tailed beasts back into the Ten-Tails, and become its jinchūriki to cast the reflection of his Sharingan on the moon, casting a genjutsu known as the Infinite Tsukuyomi which will put the entire world under his control.

Abilities

As the fusion of all nine tailed beasts, the Ten-Tails was said to possess massive and overwhelmingly foul chakra that is potent enough to bring total despair and destruction to the world. Because the nine tailed beasts are merely by-products of the Ten-Tails, it is presumed that the Ten-Tails has all of their traits, condensed into a single body. It was shown having a single unique eye, but what it is or if it is a unique dōjutsu is unknown.


Centuries before the founding of the hidden villages, the Sage of the Six Paths saved the world from the Ten-Tails. He managed to subdue the beast and sealed it within his own body, becoming what could be considered the first jinchūriki. However, this offered merely a temporary solution to the menace: in the event of his death, the seal would dissolve and the Ten-Tails would once again be unleashed upon the world. Knowing this, the Sage searched for a more permanent solution. Ultimately, the Sage succeeded by using his Creation of All Things ability to divide the Ten-Tails' chakra into the nine monstrous entities that would later become known as "tailed beasts", scattering them throughout the world. As a final precaution, using Chibaku Tensei, the Sage entombed the physical remains of the Ten-Tails within a colossal stone prison and hurled it into the heavens, creating the moon.The astonishing feat of not only successfully sealing the Ten-Tails, but also suppressing it, made the Sage a godlike hero throughout the shinobi world.

Naruto Character | Nine Tails Kyubi no Yoko

The Nine-Tailed Demon Fox is the tailed beast sealed within Naruto Uzumaki of Konohagakure and was previously sealed within Kushina Uzumaki and Mito Uzumaki before her.

Abilities

Being the strongest of the nine tailed beasts, the Nine-Tails is said that it can create tsunamis and flatten mountains with just a single swipe from one of its tails. With its massive supply of chakra, it can turn its roar into a powerful shock wave that can repel and destroy anything within its radius, increase its physical strength and speed, and fire Tailed Beast Balls. In the anime, it was shown to be able to create twisters and breathe fire.

During its battle with Naruto in his subconscious, it was shown that even though it had its Yin chakra sealed away, the Nine-Tails was more than powerful enough to overwhelm the Eight-Tails' attempts to restrain it (although Killer B stated that he didn't have full access to his own powers within Naruto's mind), and effortlessly block Naruto's Sage Art: Ultra-Big Ball Rasengan with its tails. Naruto also noted that it was extremely fast despite its massive size. Later, even after most of its chakra was taken by Naruto, it still had enough to create a Tailed Beast Ball many times its own size. If its jinchūriki dies (causing the Nine-Tails to die with them), the Nine-Tails will later revive.

Even though it is extremely durable, the Nine-Tails, when caught off guard, can be weakened by attacks that deals with massive physical impacts, such as Naruto's senjutsu-enhanced Wind Release: Rasenshuriken and Sage Art: Many Ultra-Big Ball Spiralling Serial Spheres. It is also susceptible to control by the Sharingan, though only Madara Uchiha and Tobi had accomplish this great feat. Sasuke Uchiha had also used his Sharingan on the Nine-Tails, but only to suppress a small amount of its chakra.

After Naruto conquered his dark side, it was revealed that the Nine-Tails also has the ability to sense negative emotions, after it inquired about the "real Naruto". Naruto also gained access to this ability after gaining control of its chakra.

Naruto Character | Eight Tails Hachibi

The Eight-Tails is a tailed beast sealed within Killer B of Kumogakure after his cousin, cousin's uncle and cousin's father failed before him.

Abilities

The Eight-Tails was said by Kisame and the Nine Tailed Demon Fox to be the second strongest of the tailed beasts. With its great supply of chakra, it can fire massive chakra blasts. During Naruto's battle with the Nine-Tails within his subconscious, it was shown that the Eight-Tails had enough strength to temporarily restrain and contain a direct Tailed Beast Ball from the Nine-Tails, but was knocked out of the battle afterwards because of it. It is able to endure being burned by Amaterasu for a considerable amount of time. Its tentacles offer it several additional appendages with which to interact with its surroundings and strike targets, but they are also easily severed. Even with its immense size, it has shown a high level of speed when it attacks, and even fast enough to block Amaterasu with its fist. A single Tailed Beast Ball from it could penetrate nine of the thirty-six barriers without even exploding. Going with its octopus theme, it can also produce ink to blind opponents as well as form ink clones to bind the enemies. It can also generate enormous tornadoes which can destroy an entire forest with ease.

The Eight-Tails has been shown to be very intelligent, explaining the mechanics of the Tailed Beast Ball to Naruto, the weaknesses of his Nine-Tails Chakra Mode, as well as pointing out that until he and the Nine-Tails reach a formal agreement, Naruto will not be able to fully transform or perform the Tailed Beast Ball. The Eight-Tails even coached B in tactics on how to counter Kisame's water-based techniques. He is also very perceptive as he later worked out that the Gold and Silver Brothers were revived, after witnessing Naruto sense the Nine-Tails' chakra coming from outside of the training place that he and B were confined, correctly deducing that Orochimaru's Impure World Resurrection was being used by someone participating in the war.

Naruto Character | Seven Tails Nanabi

The Seven-Tails is a tailed beast sealed within Fū from Takigakure. It has been captured, extracted, and sealed by Akatsuki. In the anime, the Seven-Tails is indicated to have been one of the two tailed beasts that Akatsuki captured before the start of Part II. It was later resealed into a revived Fū during the Fourth Shinobi World War.

Abilities

Not much is known about the Seven-Tails but since it is a tailed beast, it is able to use the Tailed Beast Ball. It also has the ability to fly.

According to Tobi, the Seven-Tails first came into being in the waning days of the Sage of the Six Paths' life; to prevent the Ten-Tails' resurgence, the Sage split up its chakra and used his Creation of All Things ability to create nine separate, monstrous constructs of living chakra, which would become known as the tailed beasts. The Seven-Tails eventually fell into the possession of Takigakure and was sealed into Fū, but was captured and extracted by Akatsuki.

Naruto Character | Six-Tails Rokubi

The Six-Tails is a tailed beast sealed within Utakata of Kirigakure. It has been captured by Nagato in the anime, then extracted and sealed by Akatsuki. It was later resealed into a resurrected Utakata during the Fourth Shinobi World War.

Abilities

Not much is known about the Six-Tails but since it is a tailed beast, it is able to use the Tailed Beast Ball. It is also able to emit corrosive, alkali substances that are extremely dangerous on contact. In one instance it was able to burn the skin of the Eight-Tails' hand.

According to Tobi, the Six-Tails first came into being in the waning days of the Sage of the Six Paths' life; to prevent the Ten-Tails' resurgence, the Sage split up its chakra and used his Creation of All Things ability to create nine separate, monstrous constructs of living chakra, which would become known as the tailed beasts. The Six-Tails eventually fell into the possession of Kirigakure and was sealed into Utakata.

According to the anime, at some point before his appearance, Utakata's master, Harusame, tried and failed to remove the Six-Tails from within Utakata to save his student from being a living weapon for his village. Utakata, however, having not heard what his master had said to him, later came under the assumption after the incident that his master had tried to kill him. This failed removal resulted in Utakata transforming into the Six-Tails and killing Harusame.

The Five-Tails is a tailed beast sealed within Han from Iwagakure. It has been captured, extracted, and sealed by Akatsuki. In the anime, the Five-Tails is indicated to have been one of the two tailed beasts that Akatsuki captured before the start of Part II. It was later resealed into a resurrected Han during the Fourth Shinobi World War.

Abilities

Not much is known about the Five-Tails, but since it is a tailed beast, it has a great amount of chakra in comparison to most shinobi and is able to use the Tailed Beast Ball. The Five-Tails can also use its horns in combat, showing enough ramming-force to even injure the Eight-Tails.

Abilities

The Four-Tails has the ability to simultaneously use the earth and fire natures, to spit lava from its mouth; something that hasn't been seen outside the realm of kekkei genkai. Since it is a tailed beast, it is able to use the Tailed Beast Ball. Four-Tails is also shown to be very strong as it was able to lift and toss the Eight-Tails.

As the Four-Tails' jinchūriki, Rōshi could borrow its ability to create and use lava.

The Three-Tails is a tailed beast that was formerly sealed in Yagura of Kirigakure. It has been captured by Deidara and Tobi, then sealed by Akatsuki. It was later resealed into a resurrected Yagura during the Fourth Shinobi World War.

Abilities

The Three-Tails has the ability to create coral, and swim at very high speeds. Like all Tailed Beasts, it has an enormous amount of chakra compared to most ninja and can form the Tailed Beasts' ultimate attack, the Tailed Beast Ball. Tobi suggested that Kisame would have been a better choice for capturing the beast, given its affinity for water. Deidara claimed that because the Three-Tails lacked a jinchuriki host, it wasn't intelligent enough to control its own strength. In the anime, its abilities were greatly elaborated upon, many of which dealt with its size: it could roar to repel attacks; it could produce a large tidal wave that spread away from it in all directions; it could strike with any of its three spiked tails to break through most defences. Its skin was resistant to attack in a similar fashion. With these abilities, it overwhelmed Guren's Crystal Release several times over the course of their battle.

Of the beast's more specialised abilities, it could produce a hallucinogenic mist that exploited the victim's insecurities and forced the victim to face them. It could also shoot two powerful chakra infused water balls at the same time. When it ate something, thousands of miniature versions of itself would attack what it had eaten within its stomach, presumably to speed up the digestion process.

Abilities
Not much is known about the Two-Tails' power. It has flexible muscles, granting it great speed despite its large size. It is also able to create a fireballs which were powerful enough to destroy the sewer they were fighting in and the the building above where they were fighting. According to Tobi, the Two-Tails first came into being in the waning days of the Sage of the Six Paths' life; to prevent the Ten-Tails' resurgence, the Sage split up its chakra and used his Creation of All Things ability to create nine separate, monstrous constructs of living chakra, which would become known as the tailed beasts.

Like the One-Tailed Shukaku, many people believed that the Two-Tails was once a human that turned into a living ghost .The Two-Tails eventually fell into the possession of Kumogakure and was sealed within Yugito Nii when she was two years old. She was placed into a detestable training program in order to learn to control the Two-Tails' power. In the anime, Yugito agreed to have Nekobaa collect a paw print of the Two-Tails for the Paw Encyclopaedia. In a cavern behind the Falls of Truth, where jinchūriki learn to control their tailed beasts, there are wall murals of the Two-Tails as well as the Eight-Tails, which indicates how long the beasts were associated with the Land of Lightning.

The One-Tailed Shukaku is a tailed beast that was sealed within Gaara of Sunagakure. It has been captured by Deidara, then extracted and sealed by Akatsuki.

Abilities

Like all tailed beasts, Shukaku has an enormous supply of chakra compared to most ninja. However, it does not have as much as the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox. Shukaku has the power over wind, in which it uses to perform powerful attacks such as the Wind Release: Drilling Air Bullet; the ability to manipulate sand, using it as an effective weapon; and can perform the Tailed Beast Ball. At fully-released form, Shukaku's body is completely made of sand; as such he can ignore most damage that would otherwise be detrimental, as shown when he had one of his arms chopped off by Gamabunta and was still able to keep on fighting. Whenever Shukaku is sealed into its jinchūriki, it has the ability to eat away its host's personality, and influence him or her with its bloodlust behaviour whenever he or she sleeps, which leads its host to develop insomnia.

Main article: Gaara's Jinchūriki Forms As Shukaku's jinchūriki, Gaara has the ability to move and levitate sand at will. Shukaku was at first believed to be the source of the automatic Shield of Sand, however the Fourth Kazekage told Gaara that this was due to his mother's will being in the sand. When angry or in a state of bloodlust, Gaara can use the sand in his gourd to take on the form of a miniature Shukaku, or even create a giant copy of Shukaku's body.

Didn't expected this kind of strike from Hachibi, loved the way he destroyed the forest, nice seal techniques too. So Naruto was just a meat bag, I guess tailed jinchuuriki are just really fast.

So Naruto and Bee got owned - I feel a bit dissapointed.. I would have expected more...Also given Naruto's speed and ability to detect intent he should have known where Tobi was, also he should have anticipated all of those attacks and avoided them quite easily...why did he get struck so easily? I don't understand Kishi sometime...

I love how Zoro's reasoning to not be Hero is the same as Luffy's accept with booze.
I also wasn't that disappointed with Jimbei's refusal.

I think it's key that he said he might meet up with them later on and would joined if they asked then, though I don't really care at this point (just hope in the back of my mind that he pops up after a few arcs). That said what was most interesting about this chapter was Shirahoshi being Poseidon. I think Joy Boy must be a D, and whatever this promise is would have to do with the Will of D and whatever Roger left on Raftel or whatever One Piece is. I have no clue what could happen what Noah's mission could be, but I could see it carrying Luffy and Co, plus a huge alliance to battle against the marines/WG for the final battle of One Piece. Knowing Oda, I'm most likely completely wrong.

No way Ginjou is anywhere near where Aizen was at I my opinion. He's making a big splash with big flashy attacks but thats about it.

further more if they had any experience in dealing with Aizen they wouldnt have just left Ichigo to deal with a trancendental being....at the very least it doesn't seem very responsible lol....doesn't feel like they're really all that worried about Ginjou....more about Ichigo's choice in the end.
unless being transcendental has simply been related to having more than one basis for power. In which can i guess he is but seems kinda weak still

Sure aint something they got in the crew right now Also Brooke, he's a bit similar to Zoro yes, yet so very different. People said the same thing when Brooke joined, but look at Brooke now? He's much different, I'm certain Jimbei still has a long way to grow and in a different direction, like the other Straw hats on their final journey. Besides, his fishman karate is nothing like Sanji's fight style

I got to say that I honestly am a bit disappointed by his Bankai looks. It's not really that different, but the middle part with the open robe looks great, I actually think his new Shikai design looked cooler. I was hoping for a post-Dangai Bankai look, that's been by far the coolest look Ichigo has ever had, but with a few design alterations to mix in his Fullbring. The new Bankai look would have been great had the right sleeve been ripped off and the sword's chain been wrapped around his arm.
