The whole situation with yagura bugs the crap out of me. The more chapters pass the more Kishimoto makes it seem as though his perfect jinchuriki status was because of tobi. Which makes sense, but here is the problem, if Yagura was a Perfect Jin on his own merit then Kishimoto would basically be throwing away the point of being a perfect Jinchuriki.
What's the point If the sharingan can make it not matter if you're in tune with you're biju or not. Yeah I no that there weren't that many uchiha that could awaken the Mangekyo and I also no that there aren't that many that are even among the living but it doesn't change fact that kishimoto has us thinking about the Uchiha when we think about good or great genjutsu. The only great Sharingan-Less genjutsu user that we have seen is the second mizukage. All we have to compare him to is Kurenai and we can't say much about her other than what's in her databook entry.
